About Us

Kindergarten is an exciting time of exploration and growth where your child’s motor coordination increases, as well as his or her sense of independence, self-reliance, and self-confidence. As the year progresses, kindergarteners are expected to complete assignments with less outside help, take on more responsibilities, and follow rules more accurately.

Kindergarten Learning

It is our desire to train students to be diligent and use their abilities to the fullest extent. We seek to accomplish this through high standards, effective discipline, a warm Christian atmosphere, and a strong emphasis on the basic fundamentals of education. The primary Elementary curricula used at Trinity are the time-tested, Christ-centered curricula produced by ABeka Publishers and Bob Jones University Press. These materials in the hands of an experienced, professional staff allow us to provide a strong, well-rounded education.

Elementary Academics Curriculum

Grades 6th – 8th: Many dramatic changes begin to occur during the Middle School years which affect students spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally. It becomes a challenge to stay focused on the task of strengthening intellectual and spiritual capabilities. Our experienced staff is here to help by maintaining an environment of structure and discipline so students can focus and accomplish themselves in areas of spiritual training, creative expression in writing and speech, personal organizational skills, academic challenges, and Biblical peer relationships. The primary curriculums used are ABeka, Bob Jones University Press and Saxon Math. A program of electives, field trips are made available throughout the school year.

Middle School Academics Curriculum

Grades 9th – 12th: Spiritual and academic growth continue in High School through a program which emphasizes self-discipline, obedience, respect for authority, love of God and country, love for fellow man, honesty, and dependability. The environment is still one of structure and discipline, but includes extracurricular opportunities for students to express opinions and grow in independence. The primary curriculums used are ABeka and Bob Jones University Press. Both are Christ-centered.

High School Academics Curriculum

We also offer our Tiger Summer Program for families needing care during the summer months. The program is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis to TCS enrolled students who will enter 1st through 5th grade for the upcoming school year.

Hours: Each day begins at 6:30am and ends at 6:00pm.
Activities: Our summer program offers a mix of fun and educational activities designed to keep students engaged while preparing them for the next school year. Each day, students work on a bridge book, reinforcing key academic skills to ensure a smooth transition to their next grade level.

Students also enjoy themed activity days such as Art Day, Water Day, Wheels Day, and Christmas in July, along with many other exciting events. Additionally, they take regular field trips to local attractions, including River Park North, the public library, the pool, Sylvan Heights Bird Sanctuary, Aurora Fossil Museum, and more.

Join us for a summer of learning, adventure, and unforgettable experiences!

Food: The summer program includes breakfast, lunch and a snack each day.
Enrollment & Weekly Fee: The enrollment and weekly fees are both published annually on our Fee Sheet.

Dates: The program begins on the first non-holiday work day after the last day of school and runs through the beginning of the first full week before school starts; this year that date is August 1st. Each summer’s schedule will be provided to parents before they sign up; however, depending on where the July 4th holiday falls, we usually take a minimum of two days off for July 4th.

At Trinity Christian School, we understand the needs of hardworking parents who require a little extra support before and after school hours. Our Before and After School Care program provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can play games, complete homework, and, most importantly, be guided by loving Christian men and women who share your values and teach from a Christian worldview.

The program begins at 6:30 a.m. before school and extends until 6:00 p.m. after school. The
cost is published annually on our Fee Sheet on our Resources page.
